The Holy Qur'an and the Muslims
 
“Qur'an “means “recitation “. Reciting the Qur'an is part of daily prayer. The Qur'an is written very carefully, with double checking of its contents. The Qur'an is the Arabic text and not a translation. The Arabic text is complete. Some Muslims learn it by heart and when any small number of sincere Muslims gather together, it is possible to repeat the Qur'an from their collected memories.
 
The Qur'an makes contact with reality
There are not presented the mysteries of faith in the Qur'an. The Qur'an is a guide. This Book speaks to each reader asking him to consider the things that every man must admit. The reader is asked to arrange this collection of facts into a coherent whole and think on it. By reminding the people of facts the Qur'an makes contact with reality. The facts are not simply a feature of the Qur'an. The things people come to believe in are directly based on these facts, deduced from them in the legitimate senses of the word. 
Is the Qur'an Muhammad’s invention?
Everyone loves his own mother highly! Muhammad (peace be upon him) was not the author of the Qur'an. He loved his mother Amna, but this name does not stand in the Qur'an. There is a whole chapter in the Qur'an about Mary (Surah Maryam, Mary), Jesus Christ’s mother! If Muhammad (pbuh) had written the Qur'an, he would have written her own mother’s name!
Muhammad himself was corrected by admonitions (e.g. chapter 80) in the Qur'an. He himself was told to make all his judgments by referring to Qur'an
[Qur’an5:48]   Then we revealed to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming previous scriptures, and superseding them. You shall rule among them in accordance with God's revelations, and do not follow their wishes if they differ from the truth that came to you. For each of you, we have decreed laws and different rites. Had GOD willed, He could have made you one congregation. But He thus puts you to the test through the revelations He has given each of you. You shall compete in righteousness. To GOD is your final destiny - all of you - then He will inform you of everything you had disputed.
[Qur’an5:49]   You shall rule among them in accordance with God's revelations to you. Do not follow their wishes, and beware lest they divert you from some of God's revelations to you. If they turn away, then know that GOD wills to punish them for some of their sins. Indeed, many people are wicked.
[Qur’an5:50]   Is it the law of the days of ignorance that they seek to uphold?  Whose law is better than God's for those who have attained certainty?
(Qur’an 5:48-50).
He was told to ask for forgiveness, especially when he knew his death was approaching, for it is God(Allah) alone that must be called on
Is the Qur'an word of God?
The Muslims believe that the Holy Qur'an is the Word of God, revealed to the Holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) word for word , through the agency of the Archangel Jibraeel ( Gabriel ) , and perfectly preserved and protected from human tampering for the past fifteen hundred years ! The Qur'an promises its own preservation
God will preserve the Holy Qur’an
The best explanation of the Qur'an is the Qur'an itself. There are not any verses of the Qur'an, some were changed.
Absolutely, we have revealed the reminder, and, absolutely, we will preserve it.[Qur’an 15:9]
Several times the Qur'an announces itself as a sufficient sign
Qur’an 29:49   In fact, these revelations are clear in the chests of those who possess knowledge. Only the wicked will disregard our revelations.(Qur’an 29:49).
All the ancient copies of the Qur'an from the last 1500 years (i.e. the oldest Qur'an) agree letter for letter with today’s text.
The challenge of the Quran
The Quran’s enemies have never answered the challenge of the Quran, as it says, “And if you are in doubt as to what we have revealed from time to time to our servant (Muhammad, saw), then produce a chapter like it. And call your witnesses or helpers besides Allah if you are correct. “(Qur’an 2:23).
Where are the Christian Arabs and other intellectuals of the Christian world? Why don’t they accept this open challenge?
As to numerical wonders and surprising aspects of the construction of the Quran, these are abundant, and most importantly, they are necessary. That is, the arrangement of words in the Quran is necessary, otherwise it would contain error.
There are no inconsistencies in Qur’an
The very words of the Qur'an are the message of the Qur'an. The speaker is God, not His spokesman recasting matters in his own words. Another direct challenge is found at 4:82, “Have they not carefully considered the Qur'an? If it came from other than God (Allah), surely they would have found in it many inconsistencies.” (Qur’an 4:82).
New circumstances bring new problems
[Qur’an 16:101]   When we substitute one revelation in place of another, and GOD is fully aware of what He reveals, they say, "You made this up!" Indeed, most of them do not know. (Qur’an 16:101), and the previous message of the prophets refers in the above verses. New circumstances bring new problems, which must be ruled upon by the original principles. This is a body of knowledge that grows.
God revealed Qur'an confirming previous scriptures
”Then we revealed to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming previous scriptures, and superseding them. You shall rule among them in accordance with God's revelations, ...You shall compete in righteousness. To GOD is your final destiny - all of you - then He will inform you of everything you had disputed.(Qur’an 5:48).
This involves rejection of the disqualified   eye. The Bible is neither totally fiction, nor is based on accurate statements, made in Bible verses (5:48)

The Bible makes contact with reality, but so do works of fiction .In fact a man has to tell us some truth before he can lie to us.
Jesus and the others in the Qur’an
According to The Bible; Jesus is not God. He is “Son of man”. He is the servant of God. He is a prophet. He is an apostle.He is an apostle to Israel only.
Praise for Mary in The Holy Qur’an
Who was Mary & Aaron
Aaron was Moses’ brother. He was the first in line of Islaelite Priesthood.
Mary is called ”Sister of Aaron (Qur’an 19:28).In the Qur’an ”sister or brother of” means the descendant of or clan of. (For other passages in the Qur’an where ”brother of” is used in non-literal meaning see 7:65, 73:85, 11:50, 61, 84, 27:45, 29:26).
There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. Luke 1:5 (New King James Version)
Elizabeth was a relative (cousin) of Mary: Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.(Luke 1:36).
Virgin Birth
[Qur’an 3:45]   The angels said, "O Mary, GOD gives you good news: a Word from Him whose name is `The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary. He will be prominent in this life and in the Hereafter, and one of those closest to Me.'
[3:46]   "He will speak to the people from the crib, as well as an adult; he will be one of the righteous."
[3:47]   She said, "My Lord, how can I have a son, when no man has touched me?" He said, "GOD thus creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He simply says to it, `Be,' and it is. (Qur’an 3:45-47). God created Adam from dust. The example of Jesus, as far as GOD is concerned, is the same as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, "Be," and he was. (Qur’an 3:59).
A son was born despite Zachariah’s wife's sterility, and despite his old age
K. H. Y. `A. S. (Kaaf Haa Yaa `Ayn Saad) [19:2]   A narration about your Lord's mercy towards His servant Zachariah. [19:3]   He called his Lord, a secret call. [19:4]   He said, "My Lord, the bones have turned brittle in my body, and my hair is aflame with gray. As I implore You, my Lord, I never despair. [19:5]   "I worry about my dependants after me, and my wife has been sterile. Grant me, from You, an heir. [19:6]   "Let him be my heir and the heir of Jacob's clan, and make him, my Lord, acceptable." [19:7]   "O Zachariah, we give you good news; a boy whose name shall be John (Yahya). We never created anyone like him before." [19:8]   He said, "My Lord, will I have a son despite my wife's sterility, and despite my old age?" [19:9]   He said, "Thus said your Lord: `It is easy for Me to do.  I created you before that, and you were nothing.' "(Qur’an19:1-9)
A Word from God?
”Word” is not ”Logos” or the second person in Godhead, but it is the creative command of God (Allah) ”KUN” or ”BE” [Qur’an 2:117]   The Initiator of the heavens and the earth: to have anything done, He simply says to it, "Be," and ”it is”.
Jesus is the Word from God:
[Qur’an 3:45]   The angels said, "O Mary, GOD gives you good news: a Word from Him whose name is `The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary. He will be prominent in this life and in the Hereafter, and one of those closest to Me.'
[3:39]   The angels called him when he was praying in the sanctuary: "GOD gives you good news of John; a believer in the word of GOD, honorable, moral, and a righteous prophet."
Jesus is a spirit from God:
[Qur’an 4:171]   O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion, and do not say about GOD except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was a messenger of GOD, and His word that He had sent to Mary, and a revelation from Him. Therefore, you shall believe in GOD and His messengers. You shall not say, "Trinity."  You shall refrain from this for your own good. GOD is only one god. Be He glorified; He is much too glorious to have a son. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. GOD suffices as Lord and Master. Same( spirit from God )applies to other humans:
[Qur’an 15:29]   "Once I perfect him, and blow into him from My spirit, you shall fall prostrate before him."[Qur’an 32:9]   He shaped him and blew into him from His spirit. And He gave you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brains; rarely are you thankful.[Qur’an 38:72]   "Once I design him, and blow into him from My spirit, you shall fall prostrate before him."
Jesus will be prominent in this life and in the Hereafter
[Qur'an: 3:45]   The angels said, "O Mary, GOD gives you good news: a Word from Him whose name is `The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary. He will be prominent in this life and in the Hereafter, and one of those closest to Me.'It is also used for others[Qur’an 33:69]   O you who believe, do not be like those who hurt Moses, then GOD absolved him of what they said. He was, in the sight of GOD, honorable.
[56:11]   They are those who will be closest (to God).[83:21] To be witnessed by those close to Me. 83:28] From a spring that is reserved for those close to Me.
Jesus was a pure child
[19:19]   He said, ”I am the messenger of your Lord, to grant you a pure son.”
John Baptist was a pure child [19:13]   And (we endowed him with) kindness from us and purity, for he was righteous. According to Islam, all children are born pure.
Strengthened with the Holy Spirit
[Qur’an 2:87]   We gave Moses the scripture, and subsequent to him we sent other messengers, and we gave Jesus, son of Mary, profound miracles and supported him with the Holy Spirit.  Is it not a fact that every time a messenger went to you with anything you disliked, your ego caused you to be arrogant? Some of them you rejected, and some of them you killed”. [2:253]  ”These messengers; we blessed some of them more than others. For example, GOD spoke to one, and we raised some of them to higher ranks. And we gave Jesus, son of Mary, profound miracles and supported him with the Holy Spirit.  Had GOD willed, their followers would not have fought with each other, after the clear proofs had come to them.  Instead, they disputed among themselves; some of them believed, and some disbelieved. Had GOD willed, they would not have fought. Everything is in accordance with God's will”.
Holy spirit means Gabriel the Angel of Revelation
[Qur’an 16:102]   Say, "The Holy Spirit has brought it down from your Lord, truthfully, to assure those who believe, and to provide a beacon and good news for the submitters."
Jesus performed Miracles
[Qur’an 5:110]   GOD will say, "O Jesus, son of Mary, remember My blessings upon you and your mother. I supported you with the Holy Spirit, to enable you to speak to the people from the crib, as well as an adult. I taught you the scripture, wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel. Recall that you created from clay the shape of a bird by My leave, then blew into it, and it became a live bird by My leave.  You healed the blind and the leprous by My leave, and revived the dead by My leave. Recall that I protected you from the Children of Israel who wanted to hurt you, despite the profound miracles you had shown them. The disbelievers among them said, `This is obviously magic.'
5:113]   They said, "We wish to eat from it, and to reassure our hearts, and to know for sure that you have told us the truth. We will serve as witnesses thereof."
5:115]   GOD said, "I am sending it down. Anyone among you who disbelieves after this, I will punish him as I never punished anyone else."
Jesus’ Mission: ”You shall worship GOD, my Lord and your Lord”.
[3:51]   "GOD is my Lord and your Lord; you shall worship Him alone. This is the right path."
[43:63]   When Jesus went with the proofs, he said, "I bring to you wisdom, and to clarify some of the matters in which you dispute. You shall reverence GOD and obey me.
[43:64]   "GOD is my Lord and your Lord, you shall worship Him alone. This is the right path."
You shall worship GOD, my Lord and your Lord
[Qur’an5:116]   GOD will say, "O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, `Make me and my mother idols beside GOD?' " He will say, "Be You glorified. I could not utter what was not right. Had I said it, You already would have known it. You know my thoughts, and I do not know Your thoughts. You know all the secrets.
[5:117]   "I told them only what You commanded me to say, that: `You shall worship GOD, my Lord and your Lord.' I was a witness among them for as long as I lived with them. When You terminated my life on earth, You became the Watcher over them. You witness all things.
[5:118]   "If You punish them, they are Your constituents. If You forgive them, You are the Almighty, Most Wise."
"We follow the religion of Abraham – monotheism”
Qur’an 2:135   They said, "You have to be Jewish or Christian, to be guided." Say, "We follow the religion of Abraham - monotheism - he never was an idol worshiper."
[2:136]   Say, "We
The son of Mary (Jesus), is no more than a messenger [5:75]   The Messiah, son of Mary, is no more than a messenger like the messengers before him, and his mother was a saint. Both of them used to eat the food. Note how we explain the revelations for them, and note how they still deviate! Jesus was only a messenger to the Children of Israel [Qur’an 61:6]   Recall that Jesus, son of Mary, said, "O Children of Israel, I am God's messenger to you, confirming the Torah and bringing good news of a messenger to come after me whose name will be even more praised (Ahmad)." Then, when he showed them the clear proofs, they said, "This is profound magic." [Qur’an 3:49]   As a messenger to the Children of Israel: "I come to you with a sign from your Lord - I create for you from clay the shape of a bird, then I blow into it, and it becomes a live bird by God's leave. I restore vision to the blind, heal the leprous, and I revive the dead by God's leave. I can tell you what you eat, and what you store in your homes. This should be a proof for you, if you are believers. Who is God ? [5:120]   To GOD belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and everything in them, and He is Omnipotent
The Holy Qur'an and the Trinity
The word “TRINITY “is not found in the present Bibles also and it cannot be deduced from scripture because no one can deduce more than the evidence contains. No verse proves the idea of a divine Jesus. The Trinity cannot be proved as to be found on the lips of Jesus. This theory is not built on evidence and analysis but on the misinterpretation
The Muslims believe that Jesus did not preach the Trinitarian doctrine and it gradually entered in the Christianity by the later generations.
GOD is not a third of a trinity
The Messiah (Christ) is not God
[Qur'an 5:72]   Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah himself said, "O Children of Israel, you shall worship GOD; my Lord and your Lord."  Anyone who sets up any idol beside GOD, GOD has forbidden Paradise for him, and his destiny is Hell. The wicked have no helpers.
[Qur'an5:73]   Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is a third of a trinity. There is no god except the one god. Unless they refrain from saying this, those who disbelieve among them will incur a painful retribution.
[5:74]   Would they not repent to GOD, and ask His forgiveness? GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
They are far astray from the right path

[Qur'an5:77]   Say, "O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion beyond the truth, and do not follow the opinions of people who have gone astray, and have misled multitudes of people; they are far astray from the right path."
[5:78]   Condemned are those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel, by the tongue of David and Jesus, the son of Mary. This is because they disobeyed and transgressed.
[5:79]   They did not enjoin one another from committing evil. Miserable indeed is what they did.
The Israelites rejected Jesus
[5:11]   O you who believe, remember GOD's blessings upon you; when some people extended their hands to agresse against you, He protected you and withheld their hands. You shall observe GOD; in GOD the believers shall trust.
[5:81]   Had they believed in GOD, and the prophet, and in what was revealed to him herein, they would not have befriended them. But many of them are evil.
[3:50]   "I confirm previous scripture - the Torah - and I revoke certain prohibitions imposed upon you. I come to you with sufficient proof from your Lord. Therefore, you shall observe GOD, and obey me.
[3:51]   "GOD is my Lord and your Lord; you shall worship Him alone. This is the right path."
[3:52]   When Jesus sensed their disbelief, he said, "Who are my supporters towards GOD?" The disciples said, "We are GOD's supporters; we believe in GOD, and bear witness that we are submitters."

Other Prophets were killed !
Qur’an 2:61 ...They have incurred condemnation, humiliation, and disgrace, and brought upon themselves wrath from GOD. This is because they rejected GOD's revelations, and killed the prophets unjustly. This is because they disobeyed and transgressed.
[3:112]   They shall be humiliated whenever you encounter them, unless they uphold GOD's covenant, as well as their peace covenants with you. They have incurred wrath from GOD, and, consequently, they are committed to disgrace. This is because they rejected GOD's revelations, and killed the prophets unjustly. This is because they disobeyed and transgressed.
[3:21]   Those who have rejected GOD's revelations, and killed the prophets unjustly, and killed those who advocated justice among the people, promise them a painful retribution.
Conspiracy to Crucify Jesus failed
GOD raised Jesus to Him
[Qur’an 4:157]   And for claiming that they killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of GOD. In fact, they never killed him, they never crucified him - they were made to think that they did. All factions who are disputing in this matter are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge; they only conjecture. For certain, they never killed him.
[4:158]   Instead, GOD raised him to Him; GOD is Almighty, Most Wise.
[3:55]   Thus, GOD said, "O Jesus, I am terminating your life, raising you to Me, and ridding you of the disbelievers. I will exalt those who follow you above those who disbelieve, till the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is the ultimate destiny of all of you, then I will judge among you regarding your disputes.
Here the Arabic word ”Mutawaffika” is used, which means ”completing” your term or mission on earth. ”Tawaffi” is used also in the Qur’an for other than death (6:60, 39:42).
[5:116]   GOD will say, "O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, `Make me and my mother idols beside GOD?' " He will say, "Be You glorified. I could not utter what was not right. The death and resurrection of Jesus

The second coming and resurrection
[19:33]   ”And peace be upon me the day I was born, the day I die, and the day I get resurrected."
It refers to death after the second coming and resurrection on the Day of Judgement. Similar terms used to refer to John the Baptist. [19:15]   Peace be upon him the day he was born, the day he dies, and the day he is resurrected back to life. Many Ahadith confirm that.
